Features & Advantage
Non-stick
Has the lowest surface tension among all solid materials and is almost non stick to any substance.
Excellent Chemical Resistance
Second only to PTFE, it can resist almost all strong acids, bases, oxidants, and organic solvents (including aqua regia, hydrofluoric acid, etc.). Only molten alkali metals, fluorine elements, and a few fluorides can act on it at high temperatures.
Broad Service Temperature Range
The continuous use temperature range is about -200 ° C to+200 ° C. It can maintain flexibility even at extremely low temperatures, with a melting point of about 260 ° C.
Outstanding Electrical Insulation
It has an extremely low dielectric constant (~2.1) and stable dielectric loss, and these properties remain almost unchanged over a wide frequency and temperature range.
High Transparency & Low Refractive Index
FEP film and thin-walled pipes are highly transparent with excellent light transmittance. Its refractive index is very low (about 1.338).
Flame Retardant
It is not flammable and meets the UL94 V-0 flame retardant rating. It will decompose in flames, but it will self extinguish after leaving the source of fire.
Weatherability
Completely unaffected by sunlight (ultraviolet rays) and climate change, it has an extremely long service life.
Physiologically Inert
Meets medical grade standards such as USP Class VI and can be used for food and drug contact.
